Barbara J. Swegles, 63, died December 18, 2007 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mrs. Swegles was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1970 coming from Suriname, South America.She was a seamstress.Survivors include her daughter, Shari Gilbreath of Lafayette, OH; son, Tom Swegles of Vero Beach, FL; sister, Connie Wright of Carthage, IL; brothers, John Kuro of Hoffman Estates, IL, Chester Kuro of Carrier Mills, IL, Alan Kuro of Hoffamn Estates, IL and James Kuro of Suwanee, GA; mother, Nellie Kuro of Ft. Pierce, FL; father, Chester Kuro of Ft. Pierce, FL and step-mother, Lumae Benoodt of Carthage, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Swegles and father, Fred Benoodt.
