Barbara Marguerite Frere Blandford, 93, died Nov. 26, 2010, at the Lynmoore at Lawnwood Assisted Living and Memory Care in Fort Pierce.
She was born in Gross, Kan., and lived in Fort Pierce since 1926, coming from her birthplace.
Before retirement, she was a legal secretary for more than 40 years.
She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fort Pierce. She was a member of the first graduating class of St. Anastasia Catholic School in 1936.
Survivors include her son, Larry Blandford of Fort Pierce; sisters, Esther Coane of Fort Pierce and Marjorie Phillips of Lake Wales; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Robert Blandford; son, Dennis A. Blandford; brothers, Paul Frere and Eugene Frere; and sisters, Agnes Johansen, Mary Rogers, Ruth Bartlett, Phyllis Alampi and Maxine Pyne.
Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice.
Services: Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 1 at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, with a service at 6 p.m. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Dec. 2 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery
