Benigno Ocasio, 81, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Benigno was born on December 11, 1938 in Puerto Rico to Juan & Rosa Ocasio Oliveras.
He was a local bus driver for St. Lucie County for many years before he retired. Benigno loved to play guitar and sing. He also had a passion for laughter, he would dress as a clown and competed in Texas. Along with his love of making people laugh he was a ventriloquist and magician and would perform in puppet shows.
Survivors include his loving wife; Alice Ocasio of Port St. Lucie, FL.; sons, Carlos (Jeanette) Javier Ocasio of Puerto Rico, Benigno Ocasio of Puerto Rico; daughters, Sonia (Jamie) Castro of Port St. Lucie, FL., Elizabeth (Angel) Morales of Miami, FL., Sandra Ocasio of Fort Pierce, FL.; Grace Myrna (Jose Perez) Ocasio of Puerto Rico; grandchildren Jeanely, Claudette, Soniliz, Jonathan, Nirvana, Jean Carlo, Alondra, Misael, Javier, Abigail along with 11 loving great-great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday March 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.
