Benjamin Joseph Tucker, 66, died January 2, 2009, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Tucker was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1977, coming from Miami, Florida.
He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, a member of Sons of the American Legion and VFW Men’s Auxiliary Post 8058 and was a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Medical Field.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Alyne Humphrey of Fort Pierce, FL; uncle, Drury Greenwell of Kentucky and nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Tucker’s memory to St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 1924 Zephyr Avenue, Fort Pierce, Florida 34982.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 7th at 10:00 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Those unable to attend may sign a guestbook at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
