Benjamin Perry Roth, 93, died September 30, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Roth was born in Columbia City, Indiana and moved to Fort Pierce in 1971 coming from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII, he was a Communications Chief and Sergeant. Prior to retiring from St. Lucie County Education he was the Principal at Lawnwood Elementary for 23 years. He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Evelyn Roth of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Ronald (Betsey) Roth of Palm City, FL and Kevin (Debbie) Roth of Fort Pierce, FL; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Services: A service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 4:00 PM at St. Peters Lutheran Church. An inurnment will take place at a later date at South Florida National VA Cemetery.
