Bennie J. Miller, 88, died February 4, 2014 in Jupiter, Florida.
Mrs. Miller was born in Benham, Kentucky and was a long-term resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida, before moving to Jupiter to be near her daughter. Prior to retirement, she was a Registered Nurse.
She donated many hours over many years as a member of the St. Lucie County Welfare Board and the Abbiejean Russell Care Center Board. She was active in the St. Lucie County Rock & Gem Club and especially enjoyed researching her family genealogy in the Florida Keys, the Bahamas and Scotland.
Survivors include her daughter, Dr. Janice Miller and husband David Acton of Jupiter, FL; sister, Kate Adams of Costa Mesa, CA; granddaughter, Adrienne Mayer and husband, Nathan of Lake Worth, FL; grandson, Justin Acton and fiancé, Amanda Walker of Altamonte Springs, FL. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Dr. Neill Miller and nine brothers and sisters.
