Betty Bass Pettigrew

Betty Bass Pettigrew, 81, died April 12, 2007 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Ft Pierce, FL.Mrs. Pettigrew was born in Baltimore, MD and moved to Ft Pierce a year ago.She worked as a private duty nurse most of her career and was of the Christian faith.Survivors include her daughters, Donna Mills of Port St Lucie, FL , Patricia McBride of Ft Pierce, FL, and Bernadette Pettigrew of Baltimore, MD; son Alton H. Pettigrew III of East Orange, NJ; sisters Mozella Johnson and Jean Ware both of Baltimore, MD; brother Samuel Foster of Taneytown, MD; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a many loving family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Alton H. Pettigrew Jr., daughter Lisa Washington, and 8 siblings.Sevices: A visitation will be held on Friday April 20th 5-8 PM, the service will be Saturday April 21st at 12 noon at Haisley Funeral Home in Ft Pierce with interment to follow at Riverview Memorial Park, Ft Pierce and Repass to follow at Haisley Family and Fellowship Center.
