Betty A. (Daigle) Ismail

Betty A. (Daigle) Ismail, age 78, of Fort Pierce, Florida, formerly of Watertown Connecticut, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 6th, 2023, at Treasure Coast Hospice. By her side was her husband Ray, along with her children and family.

Betty was born December 5th, 1944, in Soldier Pond, Maine, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel Daigle.

Betty was a beautiful, selfless, genuine, loving woman who was adored by all who knew her. She was a great cook, she enjoyed gardening, reading, crafting, traveling, and above all cherished spending time with family, friends, and her beloved cat, Patches.

A dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Betty will be forever missed by her husband of 59 years, Raymond Ismail, of Fort Pierce, Florida; her children, Robin (Bob) Rose, Ted (Betty Jane) Ismail, Thomas (Debra) Ismail; grandchildren, Shannon (Nick) Steryou, Ryan Geletka, Beverly Rose, Nicole (Justin) Geletka, Jennifer Ismail, Samantha Ismail; sisters May (Dick) Clark, Jo Anne Vaillancourt; sister-in-law, Susan Larson; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her mother, father, sister Joyce Sciaretta, sisters-in-law Mary Cook and Pat Boll.

The family would like to thank Treasure Coast Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion; to her sister and best friend, Jo Anne Vaillancourt for putting her life on hold while caring for Betty and being the rock that held our family together.
