Mrs. Wise was born in Chipley, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1949.
She loved to cook and loved her family.
Survivors include her son, Robert E. Wise of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Tammy (Tom) Murphy of Ft. Pierce, FL and Vicky Potter of Vero Beach, FL; sister, Velma Knorr of Niceville, FL; brother, James “Buddy” White of Statesboro, GA; granddaughters, Stephanie Wise (Chris) of Ft. Pierce, FL, Jessica Wise (Jeff ) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Kristen Wise (Josh) of Okeechobee, FL, and Jennifer Potter of Vero Beach, FL; grandsons, Thomas Murphy of Ft. Pierce, FL and Dustin Potter of Vero Beach, FL; great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kaitlyn Wise both of Ft. Pierce, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Buddy Wise, mother, Mary M. White, father, Coot White, sisters, Zelma Horning, & Mary Frances Hamilton, and son, Richard A. Wise.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997 or to Dogs & Cats Forever, 9550 Carlton Road, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 12-1 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
