Betty Jo Higginbotham, 77, died September 19, 2006 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mrs. Higginbotham was born in Ft. Meade, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce 14 years ago coming from Manassas, Virginia.She worked for Washington Post as a tele type setter for 20 years.Survivors include her daughter, Valorie DeWitt and husband Carl of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Wayne Dickey and wife Mary Jane; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews and their families and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ashley Higginbotham, daughter, Renee and son, Thomas.
