Mrs. Cheatham was born in Pekin, Indiana and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1964.
Prior to retirement, she was a fruit packer for Odell Groves.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Cheatham of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Buddy (Mary) Cheatham of Sparta, TN, Yogi (Shari) Cheatham of Ft. Pierce, FL and Boo (Cindy) Cheatham of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Bobby Vest of Hope, IN; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
