Bettye L. Pemberton died March 10, 2011, at her home in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Pemberton was born on March 22, 1927 in Texline, Texas. Bettye lived many years in El Paso, Texas, where she was a real estate agent and broker and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1999. She recently lived happily in Clayton, NM with her cousin, Pat Belew, and many friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Marybeth Pemberton (Dick Lounsberry) of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Paul Pemberton (Anne Marie) of Naperville, IL; three granddaughters, Christine of Chicago, Helen (Trevor) of Chandler, AZ and Alexy of London, England; three great-granddaughters, Cassandra, Emily and Elise of Chandler, AZ and good friends, Reeda Terry and Jan McDonald.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Beth, and son, David (Red) Pemberton.
