Beulah Dampier Knowles, 89 of Fort Pierce died May 23, 2011. Mrs. Knowles was born March 18, 1922 in Dupont, Georgia, the daughter of Clarence Ellis and Eva Sanders Dampier. She moved to Fort Pierce in 1923.
Mrs. Knowles was a graduate of Fort Pierce High School, class of 1940. She attended South Georgia College in Douglas, Georgia. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Annie Knowles, Fort Pierce: daughter and son-in-law, Eva Jo and Jim Shaw, Murphy, North Carolina: grand-daughter and grandson, Trina and Matthew Neilson, Vero Beach: grandson, Brian Knowles, Orlando: grandson and grand-daughter, Jeffrey and Sabrina Shaw, High Springs: and brother and sister-in-law, Lewis and Betty Dampier, Fort Pierce.
Mrs. Knowles is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, J.B. Knowles, in 1987, and sister Grace Giddens of Pearson, Georgia.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no repose or visitation.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. at Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Haisley Funeral Home. Tracy Moore, minister of Vero Beach Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow in White City Cemetery.
