Beverly Elizabeth Black passed on February 25, 2016.
Mrs. Black was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
She worked for the A & P for 34 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a unique individual, always putting others ahead of herself; she had a very kind soul. She liked to read and had an enormous love of music, especially bluegrass. She was known for her energetic spirit and she was always on the go.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Black of Fort Pierce, FL; children, Carl (Valorie) DeWitt, Barbara (Patrick) Watkins, Dexter DeWitt, Robert G. Black, Jr., Lawana (Wylie) Brown, and Sabrina (Todd Heacock) Black, all of Fort Pierce, FL; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; 14 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by 2 brothers, a great grandson, Noah, and daughter-in-law, Brenda DeWitt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be conducted on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
