Billie D. Bidle, 90, died July 23, 2013 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Bidle was born in Joliet, Illinois and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1976 coming from Titusville, Florida.
He was the Director of Finance for the City of Titusville and worked for the City of Fort Pierce Utility Authority retiring as a Financial Consultant for the City of Port St. Lucie and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Port St. Lucie. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII in the Office of Strategic Services Counter Intelligence Division receiving a Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Ribbon and WWII Victory Ribbon. He enjoyed building car and boat models.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Gerry Bidle of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Christine (Bruce) Huff of Port St. Lucie, FL; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda DeWitt.
