Blake Alan Morris-Dowdy

Blake, age 21, passed away on July 3^rd, 2023 after a valorous 39 day fight from a tragic motorcycle accident on May 26^th, 2023. Blake was the light of his family’s life; Spreading joy, laughter, and love to all he interacted with. Blake was born in Stuart, Florida on March 25^th, 2002, eventually moving on to graduate from Port St. Lucie High School in 2020.  Blake valued family and work ethic and in due course became an exceptionally valued employee at Southern Eagle Distributing Company. 

Blake was predeceased by his father, Bill in June 2015 and survivors include his mother, Susan Marie, his sister, Lily Grace, Cissy, and many other aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.

Blake always had an immense love of cars, boats, motorcycles, and anything with an engine.  He was an expert on all automobiles and could explain in a million unintelligible words what each part did.  He had a love for all animals including dogs and his dear cat who still awaits him at her food bowl.  His passion was apparent to those close to him always having a new project in the driveway or garage.

A celebration of life will be held for Blake on July 15^th, 2023 from 2-5 PM at the Elliott Museum, Stuart, Florida.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, Lynch Pavilion, 5000 NW Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, Florida 34981, for their compassionate care of Blake in his final days, or to the Humane Society of your choosing.
