Bob Max Young, 74, died January 10, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Young was born in Tampa, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1936.
Prior to retirement, he was a Lieutenant with State Law Enforcement. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War, member of the VFW, DAV, and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Rosalie Young of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Rod Young of Italy, Randy Young of Ft. Pierce, FL, Rick Young of Jacksonville, FL, and Brian Young of Pembroke Pines, FL; brother, Bill Young of Gladwin, MI; 14 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 6-8 PM with a Wake Service at 7:00 PM with Military Honors at Haisley Funeral Home.
