Mr. Horner was born in Detroit, MI and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1967 from Roseville, MI. He worked for Piper Aircraft for 30 years. He was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Ft. Pierce, veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, had a love of airplanes, and enjoyed Snook fishing, and spending time with his family.Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Shirley F.Horner of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Curtis Horner of Indianapolis, IN; son and daughter-in-law, Craig & Phyllis Horner of Vero Beach, FL; daughter, Christine Blum of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Connie & Matt Jenkins of Port St. Lucie, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Rachel Horner- Shirley, Aaron, Andrew, Rebecca Horner, Brittany, Morgan, Beckett & Preston Horner, Ashlee, Jordan, & Lindsee Blum, Rainer & Gaithan Jenkins; and three great-grandchildren, Bryce, Noah, and Jayla.
