Brenda P. Casey

Brenda P. Casey, 73, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on August 8, 2023. 

Brenda was born on August 2, 1950 to Jasper and Mary Ellen (Williams) Niece in Kentucky. Shortly thereafter, her family moved to Michigan.   In 1985, Brenda moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida.  She was a nurse for 37 years, retiring in 2015 after 30 years at Port St. Lucie Medical Center.

Brenda loved her family, her parrot Smokey, and warm Florida weather.  She was an avid reader and loved to cook and share food with others.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Robert) Ridle; sisters Linda (Billy) Owen and Sheila (Bill) Hayes; grandchildren Collin Ridle, Evan (Brooke) Ridle, Jacob Ridle and Maximillian Watson.  and great-grandchildren Layne Casey Ridle and Landyn Brian Ridle.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Charles Casey, and son, Brian Steed Patterson.  

Services will be held at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce on Sunday, August 13 at 2:30 PM.
