Brenda Lee Gear-Smith

Brenda Lee Gear-Smith, 62, passed away on June 27, 2020 in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Mrs. Gear-Smith was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
She graduated from Palm Vista High School and Indian River Community College, where she received her Associates degree. She was “most likely to succeed” in high school. She worked as a secretary at Egan Fickett Services Dept. She loved to dance and thrived on having fun. Her past hobbies were gym training and competitive shooting.
Brenda experienced trauma since childhood but never stopped loving God. Having her second daughter gave her life again and likewise for her daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Lindsay Smith-Mosesso of Vero Beach, FL; son-in-law, Tony Mosesso of Vero Beach, FL; former husband, Steven Smith of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Patricia Christopher of Fort Pierce, FL; significant other/best friend, Ralph Wauters of Deerfield Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie Nicole Smith in 1986 and mother, Betty June Jurkowski in 2002.
A graveside service will be held on July 5, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
