Brenda J. Harris

Brenda J. Harris, 73, gained her wings June 1, 2024. She was loved beyond measure and surrounded by family until her last breath.

Brenda was born in Madison, Kentucky and moved with her family at a young age to Ft. Pierce, Florida where she grew up and raised her own family. She lived in Jacksonville, NC for many years before returning to Ft. Pierce, FL where she ultimately passed. Brenda was loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. She was accepting of everyone and a perfect example of love and forgiveness. She found the most joy in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will forever be missed. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband John R. Harris, Sr. 

She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Suzie) Edwards & husband Kenny; son Adrian (Eddy) Griffin & wife Marie; daughter Jeanna Recard & husband Terry; daughter Rhonda Seymour & husband Mark; son David Harris & wife Sharron; Grandkids, Stephanie Burt, Josh Edwards, Dalton Griffin, Skyler Morales, Daniel & Steven Carnaggio, Ricky Nelson, Dalton Nelson, Hayden Nelson & Cadence Harris; Great-grandchildren, Devlin, Aria, Jackson, Lilianna & Abigail, and sisters, Edith Simpson, Nancy Brakefield, Linda Moorehead, Roxanne Choplin, and Sheila Haywood. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 4:00 pm at Haisley Funeral Home, located at 3015 Okeechobee Rd, Ft. Pierce, Florida.
