Brenda passed away peacefully at home with her devoted husband in hand on April 22, 2019 after fighting a long battle against cancer.
Brenda worked at RCA as on operator in PBG. She received her AA degree with honors at Valencia Community College in Orlando, FL. After receiving her degree she started her second career that she truly enjoyed as a legal secretary/paralegal until she retired. She was a devout Catholic at Saint Anastasia Church in Fort Pierce.
She was a beloved wife, mom, grandma, Gigi, sister and dear friend to so many people.
She is preceded by her father Clarence Hamby, her mother Irene Bakke, her siblings, James and Charles Hamby, Shirley Rothrock, grandson Landon Ladasic.
She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Boykin (Bill) Savoy, daughters, Elizabeth George Twiford, Elaina Dahl, Adele Netzorg, Elise Ladasic, son Matt Savoy. Her grandchildren, Andrea George, Joshua George, Eric Revello, Lauren McConnell, Alexandra Ladasic, Noah Netzorg, Sommer Ladasic, Tucker Netzorg. Great grandchildren, Kalon Miller, Kaylee and Brent McConnell. Her sisters Phyllis Reddy, Linda Crumbacher, Sandra Turrisi, Brother Eugene Hamby, sister in law Shirley Hamby.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anastasia Catholic Church on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM.
