Mr. Knapp was born in Mendota, Illinois and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1987 coming from Amboy, Illinois.
He was the store manager at City Electric Supply of Fort Pierce, FL.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Elizabeth Knapp of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Sandie Foster of Davenport, IA; step-sisters, Dawn Cook of Woodstock, IL and Debbie Taube of Coal Valley, IL; mother, Kathy Atwell of Andover, IL; and step-father, Rocky Atwell of Andover, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Knapp.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM at The Crossing Community Church.
