Brian Leonard Coughlin

Brian Leonard Coughlin, 55, died October 31, 2007 in West Palm Beach, Florida.Mr. Coughlin was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce 30 years ago coming from Worcester, MA.He was a Vietnam Veteran of the 173rd Airborne Brigade of the 75th Rangers receiving a Purple Heart & Bronze Star with the Combat V. He was a lifeguard in Ft. Pierce before becoming a firefighter with the St. Lucie County Fire Department for 19 years, retiring as a Lieutenant. He also coached football at PSLAA for 10 years.Survivors include his sons, Ryan Coughlin of Ft. Pierce, FL and Brendan Coughlin of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Paul E. Coughlin of Largo, FL and Corey J. Coughlin of Bradenton, FL; sister, Carol S. Ditinno of Clearwater, FL; father, Paul J. Coughlin of Sykesville, MD and several nieces and nephews.Services: A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007 from 2-5 PM at Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
