Mr. Hanks moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 2014 coming from Key West, Florida.
Bruce worked at Outback Restaurant as their head cook.
He is survived by his wife, Bevery Hanks; son Allan Hanks of Key West, Florida; brothers, Todd Hanks of Maplewood, Minnesota and Jason Pilkington of Port Saint Lucie, Florida and sister, Shelly Pilkington of Champagne, Illinois. He is predeceased by his mother, Rayetta Pilkington.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 20, 2016 from 2PM- 4PM at the Haisley Funeral and Cremation Services Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34984.
