Bruce George Shaw, 69, passed away on April 15, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was born in Bad Axe, Michigan and has been a seasonal resident of Florida for the past 20 years.
He attended Michigan State University and was a lifelong fan of the MSU Spartans. He founded Regency Insurance Group in 1981 and was later nominated for entrepreneur of the year. He loved the Florida lifestyle which included golfing, fishing and boating. He loved helping others and will be dearly missed by all, especially by his canine buddy Alfini.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna Shaw of Fort Pierce, Florida; daughters, Laura (Marty) Wolford of Lansing, Michigan; Julie (Tom) Hengesh of Irvine, California; son, Michael Shaw of Fort Pierce, Florida; grandchildren, Noah Wolford, Aidan Wolford and Kailee Hengesh; brothers, Glenn (Cindy) Shaw of Elkton, Michigan; David (Linda) Shaw of Elkton, Michigan; Paul Shaw of Caseville, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
