Bryan C. Whitty, age 74, died on September 24, 2012 in Fort Pierce, FL. He was born in Freeport, LI, NY and moved to Fort Pierce in 1981, coming from Hempstead, LI, NY.
He retired from the Freeport Police Dept after 20 years and worked for the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Dept. for 15 years. He was a Veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rita Whitty of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Karen Leisen of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Jim Whitty of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, John Whitty of St. Augustine, FL; and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Medaglia.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home.
