Burton E. Shoemaker

Burton E. Shoemaker, 85, died October 3, 2005 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Shoemaker was born in Kingston, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce 25 years ago coming from Kingston.Prior to retirement, he was a contractor. He was a member and volunteer of the Trinity Lutheran Church and an active member of the Lutheran Laymen’s League. He loved RV-ing, hunting, fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.Survivors include his daughter, Lyn Shoemaker of Orem, UT; sisters, Hilda Valk of Saugerties, NY, Vesta Thompson of Pittsfield, ME and Florence Jepsen of Centennial, CO; significant other, Ann Werner of Ft. Pierce, FL; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grand daughters; he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Shoemaker and brother, Charles Shoemaker.
