Burton T. Parker, Jr., 75, succumbs to cancer on September 6, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Parker was born in Hackensack, New Jersey and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1989 coming from Miami, Florida.
He was a former actor, director and producer of Studio M. Playhouse in Miami, Florida. Mr. Parker retired from theatre at the age of 46 devoting the rest of his life to teaching and social work. He moved to Fort Pierce in 1989 to work with Adult Protective Services for the State of Florida. He also worked at Council on Aging in Vero Beach, Florida.
He is survived by his beloved son, John D. Lewis of Ft. Pierce, FL and dog, Dakota.
