Mr. Windsor was born in Champagne, Illinois and moved to Port St. Lucie coming from Stewart, Tennessee.
Byron was an avid fisherman that loved the ocean. He spent 20 years of his life as a sea captain. He loved sailing to the Islands of Jamaica. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandpa and uncle.
Survivors include his wife, Dana Windsor of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Byron J. Windsor of Buffalo, NY; daughter, Amanda Alemont of Jupiter, FL; sisters, Deborah Windsor of Brooksville, FL and Diane Windsor of Port St. Lucie, FL; stepdaughters, Cassie Jones of Panama City and Crystine Jones of Port St. Lucie; 4 grandchildren; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Hefferon, father, Byron Windsor, and his grandparents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
