Camille M. Foote

Camille M. Foote, 73, of Ft. Pierce, FL and Brennan Beach, NY
passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at the Indian River Medical Center.
This followed a battle with Pulmonary disease and its complications.

Camille was born in Rome, NY on June 7th, 1944, the daughter of
Michael and Esther Consilio. She attended Rome schools, and graduated
from AHN. She graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors
degree as Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped. She worked
in the Rome School System until her retirement in 1999 as a Speech/
Language Therapist.

Camille married Nate Foote on July 16, 2005. They enjoyed a full life
with winters in Florida and summers in Brennan Beach. She was active
during retirement in several clubs and organizations in her Florida
community. She was president of the Upstate NY club (the
Appleknockers) for 8 years tripling its membership with her gregarious
personality. She started the Village Cart within the community that served
to orient new owners to attractions and services in the area. She also
helped with the Neighbors Helping Neighbors organization within her
community. She also loved playing BOCCE with her husband and friends
for many years.

Camille loved traveling, and had been on several cruises and trips to
Hawaii and Alaska in the recent past. She enjoyed playing all sorts of
games and spent many great times with friends and family around the
table sharing laughs. Many wonderful moments were shared with family
and friends at their home in Otter Lake until its sale.

Camille is survived by her husband Nate, and two daughters Kerr
Simon Flanders (Bruce), and Kristie Simon Tonkin (Jeff). Camille loved her
time with family and was over the moon about her beloved grandchildren
Lillian and Evelyn Flanders and Jack Tonkin. She is also survived by her
family in the Rome area, Aunt Jenny Kenny, Joseph(Virginia) Consiglio ,
Delores (Bill) Williams, Rome, Florence Webber, NJ, and many cousins
and longtime friends. Camille was predeceased by her parents, Michael
and Esther Consilio.

Arrangements are with the Haisley Funeral Home, Ft. Pierce, Fl.
Donations may be made to the American Lung Association at( lung.org) to
donate. A Memorial service and reception will be held on Jan. 9, 2017 at
10:00 AM at Holy Cross Church, Vero Beach and at the Spanish Lakes
Country Club, Clubhouse, at 1 PM.
