Carl Edward Heaton, Jr., 48, died June 2, 2016 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Heaton was born in Nashville, Georgia and moved to Port St. Lucie over 20 years ago.
Carl served in the U. S. Coast Guard. His loves were his children and grandson, the Miami Dolphins, and the New Orleans Saints. He also enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and soccer.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Eleanor Heaton of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Michael Edward Heaton of New Orleans, LA; daughters, Gillian Doherty of Port St. Lucie, FL, Kristina Heaton of New Orleans, LA, Carlyn Heaton of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Lindsey Heaton of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandson, Liam Raymond Heaton of New Orleans, LA; sisters, Linda (Bubba) Guidry of Breaux Bridge, LA, Teresa Purvis of Ocilla, GA, Debra Heaton of Lake City, FL and Melissa (Bernie) Wall of Aurora, IL; brothers, Keith (Stacey) Pate of Chicago, IL and Michael (Amy) Pate of Willacoochee, GA; mother & father-in-law, Rena & Peter Pellerin of Fort Pierce, FL; stepmother, Gloria Heaton of Aurora, IL; stepfather, Leonard Griffin of Ocilla, GA; several nieces and nephews and a much loved dog, Dixie Belle Heaton. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Edward Heaton, Sr. and Lynette Griffin.
Services: A gathering will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 4-5 PM with a service to follow at 5:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center, Port St. Lucie.
