Carl William Hicks, 87, died September 8, 2021 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Hicks was born in New Haven, Connecticut and moved to Fort Pierce, Florida 53 years ago coming from Middlefield, Connecticut.
Prior to retirement, he worked for the United States Postal Service. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved the arcades, bowling, and traveling in his free time but his family always came first.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Helen Z. Hicks of Fort Pierce, FL; son, William C. “Billy” Hicks of Fort Pierce, FL; and grandchildren, Drew and Jensen Hicks. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carlene Martin and brother, Virgil Hicks, Jr.
Services: A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
