Carlo M. Vollaro, Sr., died at home on December 31, 2011 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Vollaro was born in Barrington, Rhode Island and moved to Ft. Pierce 10 years ago.
He was a Deacon at The First Congregational Church of Port Saint Lucie, member of the local American Legion, and he proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant.

Survivors include his companion Gerrie Taylor of Ft. Pierce, FL; son Karl Daniels of N. Scituate, RI; daughters Carleen (Paul) Durand of Port St. Lucie, FL and Darlene Freeman of Riverside, RI; brother Anthony Vollaro of Barrington, RI; 3 grandchildren Katie Freeman, Kayla Freeman, and Michael Durand; 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Etta Vollaro and brothers Frank and Al Vollaro.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at First Congregational Church, 2401 SE Sidonia Street, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
