Carmen G. Colon

Carmen G. Colon passed away on October 19, 2019, surrounded by love.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Hector Colon, her daughters, Emely Colon-Heywang (William), Jenice Carrick (Tom), Lisette Morris, and Chary Colon, as well as two beautiful granddaughters who brought her unbelievable joy, Bianca Morris and Alexis Morris, and her brothers Luis A. Acosta and Remis E. Acosta.

Carmen loved her family above all else, and we, her family, loved her with the same intensity, compassion, and devotion which she showed us day by day. She amazed us time and time again with her strength and perseverance, but we all knew that she drew that strength and perseverance from her love for us and our love for her.

While the passing of time may soften the pain of losing such an amazing and beautiful wife, incredible mother, and loving grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, nothing will diminish the immense love that we will carry in our hearts for her forever.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Haisley Tribute Center, 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL. 34984 with a Prayer Service as well. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
