With heartfelt remorse, we the children of Carmine Castellano announce the passing of this great father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and most of all best friend.  

He lead a life of always trying to give to people from most of all, his heart. Never wanting things in return.  We know he faced so many heart problems because it always had to work overtime.

From all of the stories from his friends and loved ones over the last few weeks, we the children, Michael, Susan and Robert along with all of our family members are so moved and are all somewhat at ease knowing there will be no more pain. He has now earned his wings as he joins with all of his family and friends that have gone already. 

Please celebrate his life and know he is safe and with us all in spirit. 

There are no immediate plans for his memorial. As per his wishes he is being cremated. We hope to have a memorial in Florida at his community’s clubhouse sometime in January or February after the upcoming holidays. We will return with his remains in a couple of weeks to have a small church service in New York.  We will make those announcements when we have a better grasp on everything. 

God bless Dad and everyone that he hopefully was able to help make smile.
