Carol A. "Peaches" Duarte

Carol A. “Peaches” Duarte, 44, died on August 20, 2007 in Melbourne, Florida.Mrs. Duarte was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1986 coming from Boston.
She was a correctional officer for Fort Pierce Police Department, Department of Juvenile Detention, for 2 years and worked for DCF for 16 years. She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughters, Toni Lyn Morgan and Carol Anne Morgan both of Ft. Pierce, FL; mother, Elizabeth Anne Duarte of Ft. Pierce, FL; father, Antonio B. Duarte, Sr. of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Antonio B. Duarte, Jr. of Minnesota, Antonio B. Duarte, III of Boston, MA, Ricardo Duarte of Boston and Dante Duarte of Boston, MA; sisters, Tanya L. Ali of Ft. Pierce, FL and Carla Anne Sillah of Boston, MA; brother, Stephen Fontes of Brockton, MA; grandmother, Lula H. Bell of Ft. Pierce, FL; and 2 grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.Services: A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2007 from 2-4 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
