Carol Marshall Hoeffner

Carol Marshall Hoeffner went home to see Jesus on May 17, 2021, at the age of 67.
Carol was born to Alva and Lucille Marshall on May 6, 1954 in Salem, Indiana. Her family moved to Fort Pierce, where she graduated from Fort Pierce Central and from Indian River Community College and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business from Florida Southern University.
Carol was the owner of Crickett’s Boutique, Carol’s Half-Sized Heaven, and worked 15 years at Indian River State College as an Academic Advisor and taught Adult Education classes in the evening.
During her retirement she moved with her husband Bill to Birmingham, Alabama where she obtained her Real Estate license, worked as a part-time Realtor and spent most of her days quilting. She was a member of three community quilting guilds.
Carol is survived by her husband of 47 years Bill, her three children Sam Hoeffner, Molly Hoeffner and Amy McDonald (Ken), her three grandsons, Jack, Hank, Ben, and her sister Linda Colson. She was proceeded in death by both parents, brothers Tom and Jack Crockett.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 10:00, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to your local Humane Society.
