Carole Ann Berry, 64, passed away on January 8th, 2023 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
She was born in Huntington, West Virginia, but had resided in Port Saint Lucie for over 40 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Berry of Denver, Colorado; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Keshia Brothers of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; her 3 grandchildren, Dylan, Chloe and Kyler Brothers; dear friend, David Burkhardt of Stuart, Florida; and brothers, Chuck Berry of West Virginia and Roger Berry of Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Prior to retiring in 2021, Carole worked at USPS for 37 years. She enjoyed meeting the people and their pets on her route.
It was one of her greatest joys to spend time with her family. She also loved to travel, cook, and read.
She was known for opening her home and heart to anyone and everyone, and she was thought of as a mother to all. Her home was a true safe haven for all of those in her life. Her kindness and generosity was a delightful compliment to her spunky spirit that lit up any room she was in.
“One more day, one more time, one more sunset, maybe I’d be satisfied. But then again, I know what it would do - leaving me wishing still, for one more day with you.” - Diamond Rio.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to her grandchildren’s college funds. To do so, please contact Dorothy Berry at
