Carole A. (Whitaker) Ungerland, 82, of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away August 25, 2020 at her home.
Carole was born January 3, 1938 to Edward and Eva Whitaker in New Platz, New York. She graduated from Kingston High School in Kingston, New York. On April 30, 1959, she married her beloved husband Joseph H. Ungerland.
Carole was an animal lover, who enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, as well as shell collecting. She enjoyed reading, decorating, doll making and buying and selling antiques.
Survivors include; children, Donald (Barbara) Ungerland, Christine (Mark ) Henderson of Jensen Beach, Fl, Joseph (Bonnie) Ungerland of Hobe Sound, Fl, Cathy (Craig) Shuley of Hobe Sound, Fl; brothers, Larry Whitaker of West Chester, PA and Howard Whitaker of Kingston, NY; as well as 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Ungerland; parents Eva and Edward Whitaker; brothers, James and Allen B. Whitaker.

Carole joins her husband of 59 years, Joseph Ungerland whom passed on June 16, 2018. Family will celebrate their lives together and their reunion in heaven at a private Mass at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church on September 7, 2020 at 10AM.
