Carole Ann (née DiCamillo) Villanova, 74, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024.
Carole was born in Passaic, NJ to Nicholas and Rose DiCamillo of Lyndhurst, New Jersey and filled her life with love and joy. She married her high school sweetheart, Raymond (Ray) Villanova, and moved to Florida in 1980 where they happily raised their four children in the Sunshine State.
Carole spent many years teaching at St. Anastasia Catholic School and Indian River State College. In retirement, she was an active volunteer at the Fort Pierce Manatee Center and with Philanthropic Education Organization (P.E.O.). In addition to volunteering alongside her P.E.O friends, she enjoyed crocheting, traveling with loved ones and spending time at the beach. Her love for sunny days and sandy shores was infectious, and she will be most remembered lounging in a chair, book in her hand and toes in the sand.
Her greatest joys in life were being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ray, and their four children, Tina (& Richard) Romine, Nicole (& Eric) Price, Vanessa (& Suzie Eckhart) Villanova and Marc Villanova, and her two cherished and beloved grandsons, Sisto (13) and Rafael (10) Price. Carole is also survived by her two sisters and best friends for life, Judith Messineo and Camille Bernardo, and their families.
