Carolyn A. Meany, 80, died July 1, 2011 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Mrs. Meany was born in Mineola, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce 30 years ago and was recently living in Vero Beach, FL coming from Babylon, New York.
She worked for Cokes Stationers in Fort Pierce for 13 years and was a former volunteer at the St. Lucie County Museum.
Survivors include her son, Shawn Meany of Ft. Pierce, FL; son-in-law, Steve Ring of Ft. Pierce, FL; and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Meany, daughter, Colleen Ring, and son, Kevin Meany.
Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
