Carolyn W. L’Heureux, 81, passed away on June 01, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida, born on October 12, 1941 to parents, Woodrow Wetherington and Josephine Johnson. She attended and graduated from Dan McCarty High School. Carolyn went on to devote her life to serving and teaching children, working as a pre-school teacher at the Orange Avenue Baptist Church.

Carolyn was preceded in passing by her husband, Richard Hardy L’Heureux; her sister, Clara Dawn Nelson-Meier; and her brother, Wilson L. Wetherington. She is survived by her brother, John Nelson; sons, David Hahn and Donald Hahn; and 4 grandchildren.

A service will be held at Orange Avenue Baptist Church on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice in her honor.
