Carolyn Elizabeth Logsdon Watkins

Carolyn Elizabeth Logsdon Watkins, 77, of Fort Pierce, Florida was promoted to Glory on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Treasure Coast Hospice.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, she had been a resident of Ft. Pierce for the past 36 years coming from Jefferson, South Dakota. She was an RN at Lawnwood Medical Center for over 20 years, retiring in 2000.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Watkins; parents, Jerrel & Dora Mae Logsdon; sister, Edith Bellamy; niece, Diane White; and sister-in-law, Joyce Logsdon.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Julia Cooper; sons, Patrick (Barbara), Michael (Terri), Daniel (Sherri) Watkins of Fort Pierce, FL; 11 grandchildren, Ruthie Brand, Paul Watkins, Ryan Bradley, Marybeth Rowe (James), Michael Ryan Watkins (Val), Audrey Willmot (Will), Matthew Watkins, Rachel Schonrock, Tiffany Freeman, Joshua (Cori) Watkins, Joseph (Kara) Watkins; 24 great-grandchildren, Michael, Derek, Robert, Daniel, Jacob, Patrick, Dylan, Courtney, Cheyenne, Stephanie, Bradley, Jordan, Blayne, Rylan, Tatum, Addison, Liam, Danielle, Gabrielle, Janielle, Cole, Cecilia, Kellan, and Hannah; sister, Charlotte (Tig) White; brother, Duke Logsdon; niece, Teresa (Tom) Atkins; nephews, David (Paula) White, Tommy (Mary) Logsdon, Christopher (Stacy) Logsdon, Jerry (Susan) Bellamy, Brian (Candi) Bellamy and many great-nieces and nephews.
