Cassandra Rose Lomax, 90, died February 8, 2017 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Lomax was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Fort Pierce 28 years ago coming from Rockland County, New York.
She was a member of the Women’s Council of Catholic Church, St. Mark’s Catholic Church, and the American Legion Ladies Auxillary Post #40. She also volunteered with the Ladies Auxillary at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and at the Manatee Center, Fort Pierce.
Survivors include her sons, William (Barbara) Burke of Newtown, PA, Clifford (Donna) Burke of Merrick, Long Island, NY and Kenneth (May) Burke of Fort Salonga, Long Island, NY; sister, Elizabeth M. Cascio of West Depford, NJ, FL; brothers, Joseph Brooks of San Antonio, TX and Harold Brooks of Ocean City, MD; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on February 15, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Fort Pierce.
