Catherine Elizabeth Penny, 79, died December 2, 2012 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Penny was born in Augusta, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1981 coming from Coconut Creek.
She was an elementary school teacher. She loved knitting, crocheting, her puppy-Becky, mountains, cooking, football, furniture refinishing, craftwork and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, David Penny of Wachulla, FL and Kenneth Penny of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Debra Haskell of Burney, CA, Christopher Penny of Irvine, CA and Jennifer Penny of Vero Beach, FL; niece, Wanda Kinlaw of St. Augustine, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Penny.
