Catherine Thiemann

Catherine McLean Thiemann, 95, died June 5, 2005 at her home. She was born in Bloomfield, N.J. on Sept 27, 1909. She lived in St. Lucie County since 1970, coming from East Hanover, N.J.
She was a homemaker, spending a long lifetime in service to her family and community. She was a charter member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women. She was an avid supporter of the St. Mark’s Thrift Store. She was a member of the Pleasure Cove Mobile Home community for over 25 years, volunteer for many years for the Meals on Wheels and Alumni for the Welcome Wagon International.Survivors include Paul Thiemann (and Jean) of Port St. Lucie, W. Kenneth Thiemann of Rockaway, N.J., Fred W. Thiemann, Jr. of Manistee, MI, Shirley Rogers of Rockaway, N.J. and Barbara Schmitt (and Karl) of Hillsboro, MO. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Thiemann, Sr, her parents, William and Sarah McLean,
her brother and five sisters and her grandson, John Thiemann.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation, 1201 S.E. Indian St. Stuart, FL 34997 or to St. Mark’s Catholic Church Building Fund.
