Cecile F. (Holley) Harris 88, of Ft. Pierce, passed on Thursday evening, March 10, 2016, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House, Ft. Pierce.
She was born September 11, 1927, in Blountstown, FL, the daughter of the late Cecil and Claire (Bateman) Holley, She was a long time resident of Ft. Pierce, coming here from Mariana, FL in 1950.
Mrs. Harris had a strong love for home and family, and the numerous trips to Plant City to see her beloved brothers and sisters brought her much joy. She loved her grandchildren and the holidays, especially Christmas. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking.
Cecile was the wife of 65 years of the late Monroe M. Harris, who passed in 2013. She is survived by daughters, Julie A. Harris of Tampa, Rebecca and her husband Jim Barnes and Michelle E. Ledlow both of Ft. Pierce; grandchildren, Amanda and her husband Jim Overtstreet, Dane and his wife Amanda Williams, Krista Ledlow and Chance Kenyon all of Ft. Pierce, Dominic Gasmi and Gabriel Gasmi both of Houston, TX; great grandchildren, Ava Overstreet, Kashlyn Stalker, Kaiden Stalker and baby Boy Williams all of Ft. Pierce; brothers, Billy Holley of Plant City, E.C. Holley of Walatka and Edward Holley of Blountstown. Besides her husband, Monroe, she is predeceased by a son, Michael M. Harris of Ft. Pierce, who passed in 2014, a daughter, Cheryl A. Harris of Ft. Pierce, who passed in 2002, and sisters, Uldine Greene and Ruby Lee Flemming both of Plant City.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend graveside services on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 1:00pm at White City Cemetery.
