Charles A. Davis, 92, died March 1, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Davis was born in Glenwood, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1954 coming from Newberry, Florida.
Prior to retirement, he was a salesman with Eli Witt & Helme Tobacco Company. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Olene Burgess Davis of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Sylvia Goodwin of Moore Haven, FL; sisters, Paula Blitch of Winter Park, FL and Ila Miller of Maryland; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. www.TCHospice.org
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 10-11 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will take place at VA National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
