Charles Calvin “Charlie” Carroll, 34, died March 5, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Charlie was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

He was educated in St. Lucie County Schools. He worked as a meat cutter for many years; most of which were for Publix Supermarkets in St. Lucie County as well as Martin County, FL. Charlie had a natural talent for his chosen profession and talked about it with much enthusiasm. He was an avid Red Sox & Florida Gators fan.

He is survived by his father, Dean Carroll; mother, Valerie Willard Carroll both of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Bradley Carroll & sister-in-law, Ashley Carroll of Jensen Beach, FL; maternal grandmother, Betty Gardner of Fort Pierce, FL; aunts, Sharon Arnold of Live Oak, FL, Emma Sue Beck of Jacksonville, FL, Brenda Carroll of Live Oak, FL, Shellie Carroll of Live Oak, FL; uncles, Andy Carroll of Live Oak, FL, Doug Beck of Jacksonville, FL; great aunt, Shirley Lamb of Fort Pierce, FL. Charlie was blessed with numerous cousins, aunts and uncles in the United States as well as Canada. He is preceded in death by 3 grandfathers, Calvin Carroll, Charles Willard, and Arthur Gardner, paternal grandmother, Fronia Carroll, uncle, Franklin Carroll, great-uncle, Jim Lamb and cousin, Stephanie Carroll Pope.
